I usually do not book hotels that do not have elevators or relatively new, but I read the reviews and was impressed. We were going to the races for the weekend with others that had booked at the hotel and I was really surprised that the property was extremely clean, the staff was friendly and the room had been renovated and was clean. We would definitely stay here adain.

6/10 Good

The room was cool and comfortable, but there was some mold on the ceiling in one corner. One bed had loose supports below the foundation and squeaked whenever I rolled over. Beds and pillows were comfortable and the fridge with separate freezer was a great feature for us. The property was nicely refreshed outdoors and felt safe. The staff were nice and helpful. Breakfast was fine with eggs and sausage both being very good. Coffee was not good, actually the stuff in the room was better.

8/10 Very good

Overall it was okay; what I would expect from a motel. Cleaner than any I’ve ever stayed at (typically I stay at hotels). We needed a quick place to stay for my dad and some of my grandkids so needed two rooms that was on our way to our destination.

We really enjoyed our stay the bed was super comfortable but the blankets were torn n ripped so some replacement is good but the ac was comfy and it had hot water. The outside of the building looks run down but man the inside of the rooms are great and the swimming pool was well kept and so super clean!!! The staff was super polite and just all around a great experience

Rooms are always clean. The beds are super comfortable. But the real reason we chose this hotel is due to the amazing service and friendly staff. Susan always greets us when we roll in after midnight and Nathan always has a hot pot of delicious coffee for us every Sunday morning! We always look forward to our Saturday nights stay every summer. From June through August!
