This was my first stay at a Steigenberger hotel, and it was a very pleasant experience. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Cologne, with excellent access to shopping streets, restaurants, cafés and public transport. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, with thoughtful touches such as a pillow menu offering different options for a good night’s sleep. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and a live egg station where a chef prepared eggs fresh every morning. What also stood out was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was genuinely friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. A great base for exploring Cologne! I would happily stay here again, and this experience has definitely encouraged me to try other Steigenberger hotels in the future.

Stayed during a particularly hot spell and the AC was a life saver so much so I stayed in my room during 37c afternoon in complete comfort. Also the fitness centre was better than I’d expected - even having some free weights and a bench. Enough to keep myself going whilst away. A great stay.

The hotel is in a great location. The WiFi in rooms is very weak. The service in the bar area is non existent. The gym is great. Rooms are big - I personally dislike showers in bathtubs which is what this hotel has. 5/10 only okay.
