This is a great little stay in Mattoon. The woman that checked me in was EXTREMELY friendly, energetic and overall pleasant. In our two-day stay we had plenty of interactions. Also, I usually do not care for hotel continental breakfasts and eat them out of convenience or not at all... but the breakfast was fantastic!

Everything was clean in the room. You can tell they are doing a lot of repairs on the rooms as it was a bit of a construction zone. The staff were nice

We travel frequently, and this was the finest hotel experience for us in many years!! Our room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast had many hot and cold options. It was delicious! Also, the hotel is very close to shopping and dining options. In addition to those positive comments, I must add our appreciation for the warm, friendly, and helpful staff. Jackie, the owner, was very pleasant and welcoming. She is a delightful lady! Her associate, Paige, assisted us in several ways and was so kind to assist me with several matters after check-in. She was also so cheerful!
