Lovely hotel, oozes history

We had a great stay in the Scandic. Lovely hotel with lovely staff. There is real sense of history in this hotel, they have retained the old dining room layouts and decor even though there was a bad fire in the 40s. Excellent breakfast, quiet comfortable room.

Room was fairly clean. A bit dusty on the floor but could be because it’s clearly an older hotel. Despite that no issue with bedding/bathroom. Amazing view and cheap stay. Good for a nights sleep. Big reception. On site parking, very useful staff at reception

Nice hotel and friendly staff. Worth being aware that the cruise ships dock opposite so if you have a sea view you’ll effectively be staying into people’s cabins when the boats are in.

Only downside is that when Cruise ships come in to and leave harbor they signaling sound is very loud and uncomfortable. Other than that - perfect place to stay in Molde, Norway.
