I don't usually like leaving negative reviews, so I'll start with the positives. The hotel is really easy to drive to with plenty of parking, it's nice and quiet, and it's not too far from the centre of Bray. Breakfast was also really good with plenty of choice and set us up nicely for the day.. Unfortunately, the bathroom was disgusting. There was a large rusty scratch in the bath, mould covering the silicone and grout, and the shower head was thick with mould and limescale. When I turned it on, water only came out of a couple of holes, so I didn't use it. The toilet was also so close to the wall that my husband had to sit on it sideways and the light directly above my head in the bath flickered constantly while I was in there, so it was far from relaxing. The bed was a good size, but the pillows were incredibly thin and lumpy. On the 2nd night we asked for 2 more and the staff brought them very quickly, which did make the bed slightly more comfortable. We ate at the hotel on the 1st night after a long day, but unfortunately the food was very basic. It filled us up, but I honestly wished we'd made the effort to go elsewhere. The bedroom lighting was also strange, either one very bright white ceiling light or three lamps that were so dim they were barely useful, with nothing in between.
