BE ADVISED ~ Parking Lot a disaster. Read #2
I had two issues: Due to travel delay, I needed to check in after 11pm. So, I wanted to advise the hotel of my late check-in.
1st~ However, a direct hotel number is not listed, even on their website or anywhere to be found. I called the number on tte website which gave 2 options 1- make a new reservation 2- cancel or revise a reservation. Choose 2 3X's to be told this number doesn't accept calls at this time. Finally, I choose 1 & was told by a kind woman that she couldn't make a note on my Reservation as I booked thru 3rd party. After conversation she agreed to call the hotel & try to have them make the note. This worked, but wasted an 1hr of my time.. very poor process.
2nd~ I arrive & check-in after 11 & when the desk instructs me where to park in the back of the hotel, I'm told the hotel door to the parking lot locks at 11pm so I have to walk around to the hotel front entrance. I'm fine with it hoever IT TURNS OUT THE WALK FROM THE PARKING TO THE FRONT OF THE HOTEL IS ALMOST 1/4 MILE... HALF UPHILL. No Joke!
After I hike back to the desk I'm told this is done for my safety. Absurd, If your parking lot is so dangerous, get a Security Guard or Key Card locks like every other hotel.
TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE
