This property and staff make for a great place to stay in Golden, CO. The staff, beginning with the front desk, were always very helpful, along with very courteous housekeeping personnel. I only rated this Marriott as "Good" due to it being a bit dated in some need of modernization for the area.

The pool was great! Everyone was nice and helpful. The rooms were clean. The only issue I had was that the rooms were not cleaned until late afternoon, after 3 when I needed to be in the room. Otherwise I had no problems with the experience.

Overall, a great property and a great stay with very friendly staff, from front desk to bar. The property could definitely benefit from a renovation; not only does it look a bit dated now, but there are invisible signs of wear and tear. That wouldn’t stop me from staying there again, though!

great staff - welcoming and friendly. unfortunately we experienced a fire alarm malfunction issue at 730am which was very disruptive to rest. the staff offered a discount on the night stay, which was appreciated.
