Great rooms and an excellent location, but the breakfast was very basic. We stayed in a Superior Room on the 9th floor. The biggest disappointment was the housekeeping: during our 5-night stay, they only came by twice, and one of those times they didn't even make the bed. We resorted to leaving our trash outside the door, but it was ignored even while staff cleaned nearby rooms. I expected much better housekeeping for a stay of this length.

The hotel was well located in an area that was walking distance from attractions, restaurants, grocery stores and pharmacies.I really enjoyed eating at the Green Hippo nearby. Our room had a view of the lovely park with Toololahti Bay. We arrived about an hour early but thankfully our room was ready. Check in and out were easy and pleasant. The beds were comfortable, and there was enough space for the three of us and our luggage. The only thing I did not like about the room was the shower, as there was no separation of the floor space from the rest, meaning that we needed to change floor towels consistently. I really did not like that, especially since we were there for a week and had to deal with it. The breakfast was amazing. There were options for various dietary needs. The booking system was great, especially since the hotel is large and breakfast can get quite busy. The attending staff were very efficient at ensuring that food was stocked and that the tables were cleared. As a side note, I wish that guests wouldn’t waste so much food! The gym was also good, as it had cardio machines plus lots of weightlifting equipment and a separate stretching area.

Our first impressions were how convenient to the City Centre the location was. Walkable and tram and bus stop outside. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very warm, quiet and had everything we required. The buffet breakfast was truly amazing. Pretty much anything you want is available to you.

Check in was crazy. Took over 90 minutes. Once we checked in, room was nice and large (family room). Mini bar fridge was dead though. Breakfast was chaotic. We booked a time slot (as instructed), but no tables. Then once we got a table, there were no coffee cups (some eventually arrived), no cutlery ( some eventually arrived), and getting food was crowded and chaotic. The staff were nice and working hard, but there were simply not enough staff for a busy weekend breakfast service.

I booked the double/twin room and we got two single beds since there were no doubles left. Stayed there for one night but the walls had chips in the paint and there were only one pillow each so we upgraded to the king size room for a very reasonable price and that was much better.
