Great hotel in a central location in Stockholm. The rooms where nice and clean and the bathroom was better than most of the hotels we have stayed in. This is a great hotel for couples that give you time to relax and the breakfast was excellent.

Charming place. Great location. Dining staff excellent. It’s pretty and unique. There are no porters. There is an elevator from the entrance to the elevators to the room floors but I never saw it in use. I am a senior and had to brace myself to lift my bags up entrances. I think the charm of the place outweighs its deficits.

Breakfast was the best part of this hotel. In particular, the staff at breakfast was amazing. Very friendly and always cheerful. And the food at breakfast was great. The bar was also very nice. The front desk crew was pretty good too. The room was good but very clean. The location was pretty good as well. The biggest problem for us was that our room faced the courtyard and the courtyard sets up a bar with music during the summer. The hours are supposed to end at 10pm (22:00), but each day we had to call down to the front desk to ask them to tell the bar to turn off the music. Note that the bar starts playing the music at 3:30 (15:30). So if you are like us and trying to get through jet lag with a bit more sleep than normal, either get a different room or find a different hotel.

Absolutely wonderful. The hotel decor was exceptional. The beds and bedding were exquisite, as were the bathroom products offered. The breakfast was delicious and staff were always attentive and helpful. Even in asking for an extra towel, in two minutes they were knocking on our door with several clean towels. It made us want to go back to Stockholm just so we could stay at The Sparrow again.

Everything was really nice, but the room was a big disappointment. A main reason for choosing the hotel was the nice rooms, in a romantic style with large windows, calm colours etc. But what we got was a room with a screaming wallpaper and a wall leaning against you so you risked banging your head when getting up of the bed. The window was tiny with nor view. If we should have stayed for more than two days, we would have payed for another room, because it was not possible to relax in the room. So although the staff was superfriendly and the breakfast was fantastic, we are sorry to say we will not return to this hotel because of the risk of getting a nightmare-room again

Overall we enjoyed our stay at The Sparrow Hotel, however there was one major issue concerning our room (411). There was hardly anywhere to put our clothes! There were no shelves in the room (apart from those with the tea/coffee facilities and safe on them) and no drawers either! I’m not sure where we were expected to put our underwear, tops and jumpers. In addition, we were only given four coat hangers and had to request more (5 extra hangers were given to us). Clearly no member of staff had ever stayed in this room nor thought about places to put clothes! The staff were generally very nice and friendly, however the man with white hair who was on Reception was very unwelcoming upon our arrival. There was no smile nor anything like ‘welcome to the hotel’, absolutely no interaction apart from giving us the necessary information.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff were friendly, the breakfast was amazing and it’s a great location. If someone is looking for a quiet stay, I might not book as it’s in the heart of the nightlife. However the hotel does provide eat plugs. It didn’t bother us but good for others to know. Also, the wifi was terrible. This is the only piece of criticism. Every day we asked the front desk to have it fixed and every day it was not. Given part of this trio was for work travel, would not book again for this reason as was not able to work or connect to the wifi in the room. Otherwise a great stay!

Enjoyed my stay here much more than I expected. (4x nights, vacation) Will be recommending to everyone I like and coming back next time I’m in Stockholm! Location - 10/10. Ended up walking most everywhere because the weather was enjoyable and I had the time. Tons of good food, sites, and shopping nearby. Surprisingly easy to access via public transit (bus/metro stops within a couple blocks) Staff - 10/10. Friendly and tremendously helpful. It’s clear they care about their guests’ experience. Breakfast - 12/10. Forgot my booking came with free breakfast!! I’m vegetarian and had a very easy time finding options at the buffet (also plenty of vegan options). Dining area is charming, ‘Parisian’ bistro. Left completely fueled and satisfied for each day’s adventure. Gym - 8/10. Had decent equipment. I did 1x workout and it wasn’t glamorous but also wasn’t why I was there. Close to a Barry’s bootcamp if you want more 💪 Room - 10/10. This is what I was most unsure about when booking. I booked a 2x twin room and wasn’t sure if boutique = ‘musty and dusty’ as it does in other areas of Europe. On the contrary - high ceilings with big windows that could be fully opened and ventilate the room. Blackout curtains helped with Nordic summer evening light. Bathroom was a bit dark and snug but nothing surprising for Europe. The bed was shockingly comfortable. Would happily book this room again. This place is very nice - I understand why Vogue Scandinavia wrote about it… 🤔

Beautiful hotel. Great location near several metro stops. We walked everywhere. Make sure to request room with AC if that matters to you. One night we had room with only a fan type set up. But the other 6 nights was bliss in the AC room. Breakfast was good with fruit, yogurt, eggs, breads and cheeses and pastries. Drip coffee free, barista coffee like cappuccino cost 45Sek. The wine bar had good drinks and it was nice sitting outside. Rooms have excellent bedding and good body lotion, shampoo, conditioner etc. would stay again.
