Bacalar!

great place to stay, clean and close to amenities over the highway, 10 minutes to the 7 shades of blue Lagoon

10/10 Exceptional

Spacious, clean bedroom with comfortable bed and pillows. Oversized shower with lots of hot water. Strong wifi. Good location, a 15 minute walk to the main square, and to the ADO bus station. A five minute walk to the Cancun-Chetumal highway running through Bacaral, with lots of restaurants, grocery stores and other stores. The only complaint was neighborhood noise. Lots of barking dogs and crowing roosters in the early morning.

Clean and quiet area, friendly staff

The hotel room was spacious. Lots of room. It's close to the bus station (about 5-10 minutes or so walking) which is convenient if you are taking an ADO bus. It's in a quiet neighborhood which is nice. You need to walk about 10-15 minutes to get to the town centre where all the restaurants and bars are located. Staff was friendly.

Rooms are huuuge, clean and comfortable. Pool area is great. Communal kitchen is ok. Coffee every morning (if you like it). Could use a few more pots and pans for long term stays. Staff are awesome. So kind, friendly and very hard working.

DO NOT STAY HERE

This place should not be rented out to guest! The day we arrived I asked for a quiet room they assigned me to the 3rd floor, when I walked in the room I was shocked to see rat droppings everywhere!!! It was all over the floor, restroom, even on the bed sheets It was so disgusting! I immediately went to the lobby to let them know & offer me another room also on the 3rd floor but all the rooms were all the same full of rat droppings the front office person admitted that they have issues with rodents & that I would be better off by staying on the first floor because the rodents seem to have taken over the third floor. I really wanted to cancel & booked somewhere else but because Bacalar is a very small town there aren’t many hotels & everything was booked specially because I was here during spring break....Never again will I stay here & I also hope no one stays here I’ll be posting pics

Excelente el hotel y servicio y esta centrico lo que no me gusto es que llegue antes de la hora de entrada y tuve que esperar.

6/10 Good
