Free parking in the back was a pleasant surprise! I was only here for a quick place to sleep before continuing on my journey but it was everything I needed. Clean showers and easily accessible bunks. Its an easy walk to the Canal from the Hostel as well. There is a large bunk capacity at this location, two level bunkbeds both upstairs and downstairs, and they both seemed to be Co-Ed at the time of my visit. Fresh sheets, a pillow and a towel were provided with the bunk. Blackout curtains, a lamp and a fan that are provided with your bunk. The owner was very friendly and helpful with recommendations in the area.

Staff were very nice and welcoming, gave great recommendations for the area. Facility was clean inside and beds were very comfortable. Temperature inside was warm and rather humid despite the AC. Parking is very difficult if you do not reserve a space for $10+ per night, the area does not allow street parking overnight. Neighborhood is pretty rough. A few guests came into the dorm late into the night (2-4am) dropping cans of beer and making a fair bit of noise but other than that very quiet. Would likely choose a hotel if prices were only 20-30% more.

Really reasonable accomidations for the price. The bed was comfortable enough, the sheets were clean and the community use kitchen was handy. The only downside was that the walls didnt go to the ceiling and the noise really carried, so I would suggest bringing headphones or earplugs for sleeping.

My first US Hostel experience. It was a busy weekend and the Hostel directions to checkin worked great. The hostel was quiet for a good sleep. No issues with privacy in the bunk area or bathrooms and no overnight disruptive noise! It was a great lower cost option in Duluth. Just a couple blocks off of the walking trail and restaurants

It's a good hostel. The bed was softer-cushiony than any stay I had at chain motels and hotels in the past 10 years. I will stay there again. I had a private room for my wife and me. My car was safe in their lot.
