Comfortable 3 night stay.

Basic hotel in a town where hotels are expensive so reasonably happy with value for money. Ideal for train station and citadel only a 15 min walk away. I did not have breakfast or need parking. The staff are friendly enough though with limited English, and Housekeeping was very thorough. The wifi worked fine after an early glich that reception soon fixed. A kettle in the room would have made the stay even better but quite happy with choice.

No cycles allowed.

After a long day cycling and finishing our cycle trip from Barcelona, we were not allowed to bring our bikes into the hotel. There was no luggage room and were adamantly told they could not go into the room. Just told to put them outside or use the terminal storage (which just proved impossible). A very stressful and upsetting finish to our trip. We had no choice but to find alternative accommodation without being allowed a refund. Really disappointed with the attitude of the hotel.

Cyclists should know this is not a bike friendly hotel. No bikes are allowed on the property and I was told to leave mine overnight on the street - bye bye bike. Reception was surly. The place is a dump. There’s no reason to stay here no matter how cheap it is. Between the condition of the hotel and the reception I got on check in, I just walked away from a non refundable stay and also paid for a better hotel. Never done that before.

Un séjour de 4 jours dans cet hôtel choisi en raison de sa proximité avec la gare et sa position centrale proche de St Malo intra-muros. A noter le prix des chambres raisonnable, la proximité immédiate de plusieurs restaurants et snacks très abordables. La nouvelle gérante est accueillante, souriante et toujours aux petits soins des clients. Toutes les lignes de bus passent par la gare et l'on peut se déplacer rapidement dans toute l'agglomération. Je recommande le pass de 24h très économique que l'on peut se procurer à l'office du tourisme situé devant les remparts de St Malo intra-muros ( vieille ville historique ). A souligner la grande propreté de l'ensemble de l'hôtel, le confort des matelas, les petits déjeuners sympas au 2ème étage, l'absence de bruit, les salles de bains privatives généreuses. Je recommande cet hôtel pour un séjour très agréable à St Malo.

Ett enkelt hotell som är under renovering. Vi fick ett rum som ännu inte är renoverat så framför allt i badrummet var gammalt och slitet men fullt fungerande och rent. Lisa som nyligen tagit över är en ung ambitiös och jättetrevlig kvinna. Frukosten var toppen och vi trivdes med vår vistelse. Hotellet ligger 5 min promenad från stationen vilket passade oss bra.

La nouvelle propriétaire est vraiment serviable et accueillante. Elle met tout son cœur à mettre à jour cet hôtel qui n’est plus une jeunesse, mais très bien situé, propre et abordable si on admet que St-Malo est une destination prisée.
