charming old world hotel with character. hotel staff were friendly and helpful. restaurant food was excellent. facilities are dated by nature of the building’s history (this didn’t bother me but might others). huge shared balcony between rooms is a big plus. overall i loved my stay here, highly recommend to those travelling to dubbo on a budget

Very nice and comfortable place to stay Central location at a great price. Room was cosy, had a small fridge and Tv. Room was very clean with fresh linen and towel and soap was also provided. Will definitely be going back to stay again in the future.

Small, basic but ok. Comfy bed, clean linen and towels. The door onto the verandah was a bonus. Took me back to last century and visits to country towns.

An old country pub offering cheap no frills accommodation on a road trip. Perfect for what I was after, a lace to crash for the night prior to heading off early the next morning, staff friendly, facilities ok.
Stephen, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

What a terribley unsafe place to stay at. Do not stay here. Drive further if you have to to avoid this place, at all costs. However the food was really good, so stop by all means but after the meal, drive on.
Val, 1-night trip

Nice!

The staff is friendly.
Yi-lian, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

I liked this place and I'd stay here again. There were issues but for the price I don't mind. The hot water in the shared showers didn't work but the staff upgraded me to an ensuite. My window was a bit drafty but the heater worked and the extra blankets helped. The worst was the noise. All the sound from outside - traffic, noisy patrons at 1am - came straight in! The staff were wonderful and the meals at the bistro were decent and priced reasonably. I paid for 3 stars and I got 3 stars, at least for the room. Staff were great. Food was great. Secure off-street parking. Great location. Great value for the price. I'll stay there again.
