The hotel is located in the Historic District. It was completely built by family and the grandfather of the current owner. He takes pride in the hotel and makes sure his guests are There are so many special touches throughout the hotel and our room has a balcony looking out at the rolling hills of San Juan Bautista as well as a fireplace. Very clean and comfortable

OMG I love this place! So beautiful in such a beautiful little town. It was built inspired by the mission. They had pictures of the owner building it and the kids helping. It had a Jacuzzi tub!!! We were with our kids but definitely coming back alone with the hubby *wink 😜

Fun weekend in San Juan Bautista

Been coming here for over 10 years with our motorcycle group. Rooms are great, basic but have everything you need for one night. Nice double shower spa tub with plenty of hot water and pressure. Great location and friendly staff

Gorgeous boutique hotel in a historic small town. We were attending a wedding at a local venue, and had an infant in tow. This hotel was perfect for our family to supplement a wedding that weekend. The front desk kindly allowed me to revise my reservation at check-in (I thought a balcony would be romantic) so that we could have the more practical first floor. We felt comfortable walking the neighborhood even at night.

Posada De San Juan Batista.

Upon arriving to the hotel, we noticed it was in great need of a new paint job and had a pretty empty parking lot. There was no wifi and only one bar of data in the hotel room throughout both days of our stay. Our TV in room did not work as well. We had mixed reviews on the comfortability of the room. It was very clean, however I found the bed to be hard as a rock to sleep on and had a hard time resting well on this trip. There were also only 3 pillows on the entire bed and in the whole room. We left the town the hotel was in during the days because there was very little to do and only returned to sleep due to the lack of wifi or data connection in the hotel room. What was great: The service upon checkin was lovely, and they were very kind and welcoming and even helped us carry our bags to our room because it was on the second floor with stairs. We did not see any other visitors throughout the rest of our stay either. Also our room had a balcony that said it would be overlooking a garden, but it was more like the parking lot. This hotel belongs in a 2-2.5 star rating category in my opinion after my stay until some renovations can be done.

Gorgeous Posada!

I can not say enough about Posada. It is our absolute very favorite place to stay. It’s beautiful. It’s comfortable. It feels like home. The staff is above and beyond the greatest. They make you feel appreciated. It’s in the best location to walk to all the great things in San Juan Bautista. Can’t wait to go back again and again!
