Brand new. it was a five star hotel for the price of a 3 star. everything worked. deck that overlooks the beach. the location was stellar. days the surf was too high there was a pool. attached to the hotel is a bar/restaurant with above average food. whats not to like about sitting on the beach and eating super tasty food? easy to just stay there or walk a short distance into town. for those who love the beach and the waves this is an excellent choice

This review is for a three-night stay a few months ago. I had a wonderful time at this small hotel, and I found the owner and staff exceptional. I had great conversations about Mexico and the local area with Jordi, one of the owners, who was full of information and suggestions on getting around, places to dine, and things to see. The room itself was sparkling clean, and as one of the few places in the area that had air conditioning, it was a great hotel to stay in during the beginning of their...

I was looking for a complete getaway that was low key and relaxing. The initial drive to Zipolite from Hautulco took longer than expected. It is about 55 miles away and will take up to 1.5 hours to get there due to the one lane road that twists and turns. Do not be surprised when the road ends in the town and turns into a bumpy dirt road. Paradise will greet you at the end of the road.

This is a great resort for both naked (As the name implies) and clothed guests. The staff is friendly and attentive. There is a great beach for swimming or just walking and nudity seems to be acceptable on the entire beach.

What a treat to stay here for two nights, and I wish it was more. With no air and coming from snow country, I was surprised how comfortable the netted bed with ceiling fan within the “tent” would be. Beautiful room, grounds, and just 20 yards from a beach tiki bar/outdoor restaurant. The best stop on my 26 day, 10 hotel trip!

Very relaxed hotel on a beautiful, isolated beach, great for disconnecting. The waves at the beach were too rough to swim during our stay, but still beautiful to watch and relax. The staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful, they organized taxis and tours to nearby towns and beaches. Food at the restaurant was excellent.

The property, the food, the drinks, the staff were all perfect! I would note that it's the perfect get away if you want a remote location. There is 1 restaurant down the hill (on the beach) and 1 pizza place (100 peso taxi drive or walk able about 15 min). There is no cell service so you are at the mercy of the wifi signal on the property. Also, be sure bring cash because the closest ATM is at the airport. **the property does accept CC but other places in area do not.

Immersed in the sandy jungle of Cuatunalco/Salchi, expect lush nature and comfort. Walking distance to some beautiful beaches. Comfortable beds a great plus and simple kitchen to cook meals. My only suggestion is to have some kitchen towels for guests. Otherwise an excellent and comfortable stay. Will return!

I stayed here after being told by my friend Tomer how wonderful this place is. The proximity to the ocean, the no frills clean and comfy accommodations and the wonderful care with which the owner and the staff run the place made me want to stay forever. I took my siesta on the hammock in front of my room daily. I fell asleep to the roaring sound of the waves outside. I went on a morning dip after watching the sunrise, all steps from my room. I can’t wait to come back.

The views and property itself is incredible. The staff are very friendly and helpful, most speak English so that helps a lot if your Spanish isn't great. Our only real letdown was that Expedia said this place was "all inclusive" and it is not. You pay as you go and the restaurant, at least during our time there, is only open thru lunch. Their food is amazing though and it's a shame they aren't open for dinner. The staff was very accommodating in helping us order food in and have it delivered....

Casa Obe was my last stop during 3 weeks of beach travel and it was the perfect ending! First the hosts JuanCarlos & Valentina welcome you like old friends! Alba will make you whatever you want and is an excellent cook, and Yammy makes a mean Chelada! What I loved was I felt like I was in a hippie town of the 70's but with modern convenience. Simple rooms are that simple, but totally adequate for a low key beach stay. Rooms have A/C and fan, beds are comfy and the pool is fantastic! My...

Loved it 100%! On the beach!!! I plan to return and rent the same room, upstairs, facing the ocean. The property is one of the few rustic and natural, made of wood and palms. I wish I had spent more time sharing with the staff (I was too busy sunbathing); they were so cool, welcoming, and down-to-earth. Their coffee was the best coffee I had while at Zipolite. It went perfectly with astry from the bakery nearby. Amazing place.
