This was a great hotel! Receptionist was very friendly at check-in. We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom and it was basically an apartment. Too bad we weren't staying longer. The only negative that we found was the shower water pressure is bad. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay!

Pros: The hotel was very clean and modern and in a great location. Staff were very nice and professional, as well Cons: The check-in process wasn't great. We stood in line for a while waiting to get checked in. It was a slower process overall. Also, the water pressure wasn't great and our tub did not drain well while showering, which is a pet peeve of mine.

The room is spacious and like a fully-furnished apartment. It has in-unit washer and dryer and full kitchen equipment. They are transitioning from being fully self-serviced to having on-site staff. The front desk staff is available for most but not all the time, so it may be a little inconvenient if you are looking for a traditional hotel experience. It is right by the state capitol and easy to get to other places. The walk to the major downtown attractions is roughly 10-15 minutes and manageable. The parking is on-site and gated, although extra parking charge will be applied. Overall, it meets my needs, and the price is nicer compared to other similar hotels in Nashville.

We had a really great stay at the Nashville Reserve. The location was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall the room was comfortable and clean but we did find some “strange” hairs in the bathroom and the Keurig machine was dirty but the staff quickly replaced it with what seemed to be a brand new machine. I would recommend the Nashville Reserve to anyone looking for a place to stay while in the Nashville area.

We found this beautiful historic hotel late at night on Hotels.com after a long day of traveling. We didn’t have a reservation and were exhausted, so we were fortunate they still had availability. One of the first things we noticed were the bars in our room, which seemed a little unusual at first. The next day, we learned that the building was originally a Federal Reserve Bank, and suddenly everything made sense. It was a really neat piece of history that added to the experience. The property has done an excellent job blending its historic character with modern design. From the lobby and hallways to the guest rooms, everything was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully updated. The hotel is also very high-tech. Rather than traditional key cards, guests use PIN codes to access the parking garage and their room, making check-in and entry very convenient. One comment that applies here—and at several other places we visited—is the cost of parking. While it seemed to be consistent throughout the area, the additional $40 parking fee wasn’t disclosed when we booked online and was only mentioned at check-in. It wasn’t a deal-breaker, but it would be helpful for guests to know that expense in advance. One surprise was that our room did not have a television, which is fairly uncommon these days. Fortunately, after a long day of travel, we were so tired that it really wasn’t an issue for us. The management company staff at both check-in and check-out were professional.
