Skip this place if you care about quality, but if you just want a place to sleep before continuing on your way the next morning, this place gets the job done without any drama.

The staff was great, she even gave up her personal fan to try and make our stay more comfortable. This is a very old motel. The main problem I had is there was zero air conditioning in our room. This place may be charming in the winter but torture when it is 99 degrees outside. It was like a sauna all night long.

Had to switch rooms twice to find a clean-ish one. If I hadn’t prepaid on the hotels.com app…we would have found somewhere else to sleep.

The hotel is really out dated. It had a blue tub and sink and the smoke alarm was missing . When we arrived at 9 pm the front door was locked so we had to call and wait for someone to come so we could get a key to our room. We needed another towel so in the morning at 815, we went to front office only to find it locked again. There was no coffee machine or even a blow dryer in our room. I guess now a days you assume these items will be included in your rooms .

This property was one of the WORST motels, properties I have EVER stayed at, and should NOT even be open! We could NOT stay there due to the horrible smell, odor in the room. Lesson learned! While the pictures on the internet looked GREAT? This motel was everything but GREAT! Chrck.out motels in person BEFORE you book 3rd party!

Made a reservation using Expedia Friday morning. I tried calling several times within an hour of arriving within the advertised lobby hours but no one answered. When I got there no one was in the lobby and a posted sign said they were sold out so I had to find another hotel, the nearest of which which had openings was 50 minutes away.

There was no thermostat no washcloths, no hand towels and no bath towels. Very cold and no heat. No light bulbs and the vents had lint as though the filters had not been changed. This stay was a disaster

We had no clean bath towels, they did bring us some just fresh out of the washer and dryer, The carpet was badly stained, do not know if it had been vacuumed. We basically had no air conditioning. They had to go down in the basement to turn it on. We had to ask twice, never did get cool. Bathtub hot water was dripping bad,so hot water was hit and miss. The young couple working their were very pleasant. The place really needs some restoration. I can see paying $40 for that but not eighty.

Avoid this motel! We were looking for a place to spend a night on our trip and Chadron was the closest town. There were only Holiday Inn for over $300 and Motel Grand for $112, which had decent reviews, so we decided to book a room with two queen beds. When we arrived at about 10PM reception was closed, but we called number on the door and 20 minutes later a guy arrived. He confirmed that we have reservation but said that there are no rooms with two queen beds available (they are not cleaned). There was only one unit occupied, but I saw on the computer that remaining units were marked red – not occupied but not cleaned. He told as to wait, and sometime later came back saying that he has the room for us. The room was dirty, everything was old and stained, there even was garbage in the garbage bin, and we had impression that linen wasn’t replaced after last guests, just smoothed. We slept using our sleeping bags and left the room as early as we could. I have the feeling that this place prepares the rooms only when they have bookings and of course highly overcharges. I am shocked that such place is listed on hotels.com!
