Shopping in Yokohama can suit just about any budget and ranges from full department stores and multi-level shopping malls to outlets and traditional discount shops. Start your shopping journey around the Yokohama Station railroad terminal, where you’ll find tons of local stores, electronics retailers and brand-name shops. Near the bay area around Minato Mirai 21, you’ll find major shopping malls offering over 200 stores each, including Yokohama Landmark Plaza and Queen’s Square Yokohama.
For boutique shopping, head for the Motomachi area. You’ll find tons of flower shops, haute couture fashion boutiques showcasing both Western and Japanese fashions, furniture stores, cafes and bakeries and vendors of accessories like purses, shoes, lace and jewelry. A major outlet shopping mall, Mitsui Outlet Park, can be found near the Yokohama Bay Side Marina.
