Winery Hotels in France

I'm always hesitant to stay in aparthotels. I like the security of having someone at the front desk to help me if anything goes wrong. What a delightful experience! We decided to splurge and stay in a Château since we were going to the Loire Valley, and were so glad we did! Our room was in one of the cottages, so it was quiet and felt like we had our own house. The breakfast at the Château was wonderful, particularly for the view. Outstanding service as well! Great proximity to Tours and the chateaux.

Only regret is we stayed just one night. Excellent staff. Good breakfast. Large rooms. Great view on 6th floor balcony. Easy walk to restaurants and main square.

This property is a little gem, located on a tiny street, and hidden behind an imposing secured door opening to a cobbled courtyard with gorgeous flowering trees. Excellent restaurant.

Our room had recently been redone and was beautiful! It was very spacious and had a gorgeous shower. People should be cautioned, however, that it is open to the room and when sharing with someone other than your partner can be uncomfortable. The staff was very helpful in suggesting restaurants and with any other questions we had. The hotel is located right in the heart of Colmar and is convenient to all. Breakfast is included with delicious pastries and breads, but no hot food is available....

Nice big room, across the pool that was much needed during the heat wave. We had dinner at the restaurant that was very good albeit on the pricy side. The Chateau is nested in the vineyards, the surroundings are gorgeous.

The property is in a great location, and the staff and amenities were great

Colmar is a lovely town and Le Colombier is a great place to stay while exploring it. The hotel is near the old town and is interesting and quirky. The staff was helpful and the breakfast, while expensive, was varied and tasty.

We loved this hotel experience. We rented a car to explore Provence and had no problem driving the 10 - 15 minutes to Aix-en-Provence.

Perfect.

Great hotel and location, very easy to either walk or take the train around the city. Staff is excellent, friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay here.

My only personal discontent was the pillows!!
