The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was cozy and exceptionally clean. Lots of things to do on the grounds. My room had a ceiling fan but no AC...not a problem right now but would probably not be the best option during hot season. Overall a great experience and I would definitely come again.

Terrific long weekend "escape" to Luang Prabang. Enjoyed biking around the town and lazily floating down the Mekong in a boat. The hotel is perfect...just far enough from town to be quiet and peaceful but close enough to explore the UNESCO World Heritage town. Hotel provides mountain bikes and "family" bikes. Baan Pila is owned by two French women. One of the owners is a partner in a restaurant we recommend called Bouang. They are located walking distance to the night market. We enjoyed the mango room. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. We enjoyed using the free bikes available to explore the town.

The location of the property is very unique as it is across a small river from the main town. You reach the town by a small boat or bamboo bridge. It gives the property a very relaxed and quiet ambiance.

Spectacular views. Staff was accommodating, welcoming, gave us great room with view of the city. Infinity pool was large & clean & gorgeous. Served pina coladas by the pool by friendly staff. Good cafe on premises, free shuttle to city every hour. Clean, quiet facilities. 360 degree view of the city. Best experience ever!!!

Wonderful staff, all so very welcoming, friendly and helpful with everything we needed. A lovely room with private balcony, mini fridge, tea pot, amazing breakfasts with both Lao and western foods- lots of fruits! Bikes available to borrow, clean small swimming pool. River access. Beautiful landscape and easy access to city center via bamboo bridge ( except in monsoons). Love this place and will definitely return!

Simply a nice peaceful stay with great support from the staff. Their driver ended up taking us on a nearly full day tour of Kuang Si Falls and everything in between!

Lovely hotel minutes from downtown/main street Luang Prabang, yet far enough away to have it be quiet and peaceful. Originally only booked for 2 nights, and then 2 nights at Sofitel Luang Prabang down the street, but we made the mistake of visiting Burasari first and ultimately didn't want to check out and leave. The Luang Say Residence is a wonderful place to stay in Luang Prabang. The staff was inobtrusive, but at the same time friendly and extremely helpful. There didn't seem to be anything they wouldn't do for you. The restaurant had great food, the pool was relaxing, and the rooms were comfortable, roomy, and super clean.
