"This stone cottage in the mountains of Malaga province was quaint and cozy. It's part of a camp site with several other such cottages, so you don't feel isolated. There's a pool, but it was closed (for the fall season?). The surrounding woods were fenced off so we couldn't hike much, but walking within the grounds was pleasant. "Everything about this property is nicely decorated with a Spanish “country” flair. Our bedroom had a beautiful view of the Sierra. The bed was super comfortable. The restaurant has an excellent reputation locally for its game meats. We had a lovely dinner at 8:30 at night. Staff is very helpful and friendly. "

"Of course this spot has the incredible view of the gorge, best seen in the morning at breakfast. But we really found the interior quite charming and almost monastically calming. Elegant old wood ceilings, beautiful chairs in the dining room interior. The sitting room space just behind the patio was a perfect place to take a coffee or get some computer work done mid day. I just felt very relaxed there overall. Excellent water pressure. Wifi could be faster yes but monks don’t use laptops...
