Lanzhou is the land of smokers and the hotel does little to control people who choose to smoke in the lobby, the elevators, the rooms. Great hotel but just can’t get away from the smoke.

Because of airplane delay I asked the manager to change my reservation into the next day, he accepted it. This hotel is located at the city center and it is very convenient to have dinner around. Across the street, there is a bus station in which we can go to the south station and wr can get on the express bus. Also breakfast is served.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room is clean and spacious. Very convenient location.

Good safe location for walking around & catching the local bus to the railway & bus station. Breakfast was good mostly Chinese food. The front desk people were very helpful & kind. It was great to sleep on an actual western bed. Chinese beds are too hard.

Our stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Tianshui was a very pleasant experience overall. The hotel is modern and appears to be quite new, with well-designed facilities throughout. We stayed in two rooms on the 22nd floor, and both were spacious with spectacular views of the city. This hotel has a great location, right in the Tibetan heart of the town and next to the Labrang Monastery. The owner is very friendly and enthusiastic, and the tour we took through the hotel to the Ganjia Grasslands was well-organised and very enjoyable. The hotel room is fairly basic but overall its a great choice for a few days stopover in beautiful Xiahe.
