Amazing does not begin to describe our experience here. Frank(chef) and Arusha ( hostess,) were so friendly and accommodating. The property is beautiful, clean,relaxing and maintained so well. A beautiful white sandy beach and well maintained hotel is the core of this lush resort. Supported by a very friendly staff and competent management guarantees a great experience. The food is excellent and if you have a chance, try the private dinner setting at the beach with your very own server. Finally the Sultan "s bath and couples massage is the ultimate experience . Stayed here for one week and enjoyed it. The hotel is on a fairly busy beach in Stone Town. Breakfast was excellent, dinners were sometimes good and sometimes not but the salad bar was great. It is safe to walk around Stone Town with plenty of restaurants, souvenir shops, fruits and spices for sale. There is a nice ice cream store right across from the hotel and although most places take US$ there is a money exchange very close by (on the other side of the building tunnel with good rates). Mount Meru is a step back in time. The grounds are beautiful and the staff was extremely kind. We needed a late check out and they were wonderful with that. The dinner was delicious. The breakfast leaves with more to desire although they did have an omlet station which was great. There was plenty of hot water for 3 women to take consecutive showers. I would definitely come back and stay.

Everything was nice: clean hotel with quality equipment in the room, nice beach, the best food if to compear with other 3 hotels in Zanzibar we stayed. Helpful staff.

Great rooms, great spot.

Incredible Staff greeted us after a long travel day. After flying from Denver we landed to find out our accommodations previously booked were no longer available. Kili Seasons Hotel saved the day and we were able to transfer our booking to their hotel and they even arranged a shuttle from the airport for us. After a long passport control line on top of an already big travel day, arriving at Kili Seasons to warm and friendly staff made the day feel worth it. We were offered hot vegetable soup...

When I checked in, I was invited to a house party which I was told that it has been going on every Wednesday. That was really a nice taken very seriously by the hotel staff. Thanks the hotel manegement for keeping up this hotel cheerful. The rest is usual Southern Sun treat meeting travellers' expectations.

This place has the best service . The team and staff are excellent . Place is right location . Food is exceptional . This place is home away from home .

Close to the Maasai Market so we could shop and send our merch home. We were within walking distance of the market and old clock tower. Staff was amazing and the food for bury breakfast and dinner was outstanding!

With the road construction in Dar, Protea was not close to the airport, but well worth the drive! This is a top notch hotel! The unnamed hotel close to the airport in Dar is in poor condition; but Protea exceeded our expectations! The courtyard is beautiful with the tropical plants and swimming pool. The free breakfast had the most variety I have ever been offered at any hotel, from American food, to Dutch food, to local food, to Indian food. I have never seen such a huge buffet for breakfast!...

Very friendly staff. The hotel is good. Decent rooms and amenities, as to be expected from a 5 Star Hotel. But the staff made all the difference.

Of all the hotels that we saw in Zanzibar, this one was the best.

Zawadi House is tucked out of the way but easily found by most tour operators. Great service, Emmanuel makes it run smoothly. No complaints

Transportation from airport was great, check-in was easy, the hotel itself was very nice and clean, amazing breakfast. Would stay here again!
