This is a decent property in the heart of Leh. Great accessibility to the central market. The owner sure has some taste. If I were to nit-pick, some finer details might need a relook. Our shower cabin, for example, would leak all over the bathroom floor, as if there was no shower door. Stepping into a wet bathroom dilutes ones experience. The window panes were good quality, but were broken. Food is great here. No concerns there at all. They have a great chef. And they've a nice recreation room...

The hotels itself had a warm welcoming environment. It had a garden with rose species, and other flowers at the rear. It even a vegetable garden we enjoyed looking at. The rooms were spacious. The staff was friendly and the cook even made custom made food to our request. The owner of hotel was most accommodating and helped us plan our trips. We appreciated his taking time to advise us on our trips and even getting us in touch with the taxi companies to organize our trips. I would give it 6...

I really enjoyed both my stays at The Pal. It's a very nice property, well-kept, a convenient short walk from the main market. The stroll down the street never got old. The room was tidy. The shower was plenty refreshing after an 8-day trek. Breakfast was good. The staff was especially friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my time at The Pal and look forward to staying again next time I visit wonderful Leh.
