"A tranquil lodge with swimming pool (cleaned every day), modern decor, electricity and hot water all day, quiet environment and comfortable bed and functional aircon. Very kind sweet staff and helpful host Marianna will help you solve problems. Property can take transfer via euros through portuguese bank, removes hassles from changing money. Ths island takes only visa no mastercard. Wifi is sketchy but they are changing it. Eating attracts flies but it is the countryside. Had two tranquil days with good rest in nice room"

"Close to airport. Manager Dolphina makes interesting conversation, is kind and try to solve all problems. Other staff are kind and try to be helpful. Beautiful pool and grassy garden. Room is in semi detached house therefore private and quiet. Aircon is split, cool and quiet. TV has interesting channels and netflix. Food is delicious. Downside: mosquitoes in room (due to gap on top of door) woke me up buzzing the first night, improved but not eradicated the second night. Probably need to seal the gap on top of the door. Curtain not fully dark and leaks light from 6am, can be improved. Bed separate from sitting room but still get woken up by the light. Breakfast good"
