"My wife and I stayed here while on our honeymoon and were thoroughly impressed with the absurd attention of the staff and hotel. The hotel provided us with an arrangement of desserts and a handwritten note to congratulate us -- a small act that went a long way to making Platz Hotel our favourite stay during our two-week long honeymoon. Thank you for the great customer service; it certainly matched the beautiful rooms and amenities the hotel offered."
"I read reviews, good and bad before we came and it’s all true. The hotel is on a street with strip clubs and casinos and the alley way to the hotel from the street felt unsafe (drunk/ drugged groups of people every time we walked through) and there’s no security in the hotel - you don’t need a key card to go in the lift or corridors.
BUT once you’re in the hotel it’s great! Friendly staff, clean, spacious room and delicious breakfast. It’s also a great location near the main station. I haven’t knocked a star off for the shady street and would stay there again."
