"My partner and I had a fantastic stay at the Cumberland. We were in Bournemouth for a concert and this hotel was ideal as it was close to the venue and had a good location overlooking the bay.
Our room was comfortable and good value but what really stood out was how good the staff were. Lisa made us feel welcome and gave us some great advice on the facilities and the waiters and managers were friendly and attentive.
Breakfast was very nice and we enjoyed the outside and inside pools, as well as the sauna during our short stay."
"Clean, spacious room. Very comfortable stay. Staff polite and helpful. Very easy access to the beach. Slightly outside of town so limited selection of restaurants and cafes locally (recommend Goat & Tricycle pub down the road), but most of what you want is within 10 minutes' walk.
Breakfast is fairly expensive for a standard hotel buffet. Okay if staying for a night or two, but would suggest skipping the buffet and going to a local cafe if staying longer. Much better food (and better value!)."
