"Very simple, wonderfully old-school roadside motel 'down the shore'. Reminds of me of the similar places I stayed as a kid, and the experience as an adult was similarly excellent.
The SG Lodge has an excellent location and is nicely maintained by the owner/staff. Others might recommend modernizing everything, but that would detract from the charm. Definitely a solid place to stay while in the area."

"In general, my stay was mediocre. No shampoo in shower. I did not like the pillows , but mattress was great.
No pool because of cool season still.
Bathroom needs new sealants. Grout on tiles are ok. "
