"Modern chic hotel operated by super helpful people at the lovely quarter of Basel! 3 of us stayed 4 nights in Garden View Suite with washer/dryer + ample water shower and couldn't be happier. Most of the city's main attractions are within walking distance and strolling on many little passages throughout was a lot of fun. Tram#3 stops directly in front of the hotel, which easily connects with Tram#8 or #11 to Basel SSB main station. One advice is to bring Type J adapter for charging. We sincerely...

"If you are visiting Basel the Marthof is the perfect choice. Charm, location, clean, spacious rooms. Close to everything and most tours start from here in the area for convenience or a short 10 min walk. Restaurants galore from all varieties and cultures. The staff is excellent. The breakfast is buffet wonderful. I promise you will love it!"

Fully stocked fridge with beer, water and soft drinks. 5 mins walk from the highstreet. 20 min walk to vitra museum. Only rated 4/5 for condition because there was ongoing maintenance which I wasn’t aware of. However this didn’t disrupt our stay. The room was perfect and breakfast was great. "
