"Wonderful hotel. We had a lovely big room with really nice bathroom which we've found is always the room which often is a bit tatty in other hotels. We had our labrador with us and staff spoilt her rotten. Great location for going off for the day. Breakfasts superb, cooked to order. Staff were really nice and helpful. Felt like leaving friends when we left."

"A lovely B&B, the room was beautifully clean & well equipped, nice touches like fresh milk, sweet treats & bedside phone chargers which was really useful. The breakfast was amazing, locally sourced meat from the Butcher with some of the nicest black pudding I have tasted. "What a contrast to my last hotel (Balmoral Lodge, Southport ). St Michael's was everything I want from a B&B and more. Beautiful vintage furniture, period features, immaculately clean, lovely owner, great atmosphere. Loved it and the presence of a coffee machine, a fridge and a balcony (looking over the garden) made this a great experience. .
