"This place is amazing ! A very peaceful place to relax for a few days. The staff are really polite and helpful. The rooms have good AC and a good shower. There is a restaurant onsite and the food is great. I would recommend a few nights here as it is beautiful to spend a full day sitting on your riverside porch watching the river flow by. "I really enjoyed my stay at Villa Somphong. The AC kept the room at a cool temperature despite it being very hot outside, free water and room cleaning was offered everyday and the owner was very kind and helpful. It felt very authentic to this part of Southeast Asia. The hotel is very close (walking distance) to temples, stores and restaurants as well as the Mekong river, and there are usually tuktuk drivers close. I would gladly come back here!"
