"This is a vintage motel with unparalleled location next to the Gettysburg National Military Cemetery and National Park battlefields. The property has been recently refurbished. The room was clean and comfortable. Air conditioner/heat worked fine. The new, adjacent Steinwehr Diner is a plus for full meals...no need to hunt for parking. Other eateries are within walking distance. I prefer this older motel to the more modern multi-level hotels with higher rates."

"We had reservations for Eisinhower, next door to the other hotel. Note - if you check in late, you'll have to check in next door. Fortunately they took pity on us and put us in a room in the other hotel. Room was huge and clean - comfortable bed and great ammenities. Definitely recommend!"
