"It was just what we needed for 1 night stay, we can see it is being refurb and will look amazing when done, rooms where adequate all newly done. Nice comfy bed, close to places to eat if the restaurant closed. Will we definitely go back again for a longer stay when going to Chelmsford."

"I work away most days of the week, but rarely leave a review, since most hotels just seem to blend into one. This place however, is different. The room was lovely, the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent (evening meal delicious and not one of those buffet breakfasts that I've come to loathe). Definitely worth a visit."
