"Wonderful rural pub with the most excellent hosts. The service and food is some of the best we have experienced even when visiting 5 star & michelin guide venues.., The breakfast cooked fresh to order and delicious french bread by Nico Would highly recommend."

"Superb 15th century Inn, in the depths of the Devon countryside, so much character. The bar was busy all evening, with a couple of decent ales and the restaurant was excellent. My only small issue was that the shower was a bit 'spray the room'. The lady on duty that evening was really helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay there again."

"Lovely spa break, excellent spa facilities, great friendly staff and lovely breakfast "

"This shepherd's hut is in a very remote area. Some difficulty traversing the narrow country roads to get there. The view was lovely and the host friendly and accomodating. The bed was high and we, in our mid seventies, had to assist each other in and out each time. All in all, despite the wet, windy weather, we had a sheperd's hut experience which we could not have in Canada. I think it would have been a nice area to enjoy in warmer, more pleasant weather."

"Wonderful overnight stay, the most comfortable bed in 5 days of travelling. Lovely people, great food, very kind. We will return. "

"Completely detached barn. Very warm despite the weather being awful. Easy to find. Lovely layout. Had everything we needed and location was excellent , between Oakhampton and Tavistock. Very powerful shower and comfy couches and bed. Great size private garden but pity we couldnt sit out much but still very enjoyable"
