Nice restaurant with varied menu choices; breakfast excellent. Staff welcoming and very helpful. I would definitely use this again in preference to others closer to or in the town but really need car to access."

"The communication was terrible, we only got the code for the apartment access after we called the owner a few times. Even after he had picked up and said he was sending it, he still didn’t and we had to call him back again. This was all last minute. We had originally booked to stay in the bigger apartment but the owner sent a message on the app to say he had double booked us and were we happy to stay in a smaller apartment with a shared kitchen rather than a private one. "Parking is a little way from the main house. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Room was absolutely silent, never heard a thing all night. Room was large, reasonably clean but maybe a little tired but all in all, well worth the cost and would definitely stay again "

"The staff in the bar and at check in were super friendly and helpful. The room was really lovely. Roomy, comfortable, good size tv and large en-suite bathroom. Quiet, warm and lovely biscuits in the room. Best of all the mattress was soooooo comfortable. We had lunch in the bar which was yummy too. Would highly recommend staying and eating at The Tawny Owl. "Had a fantastic stay over the Easter weekend at The Masons Arms and will definitely be back! The staff were super friendly, food delicious, and beds very comfy. The hotel is super pet friendly and lots of nice touches like dog bowls provided and a Dog Treats menu at the bar. Location is great for exploring The Cotswolds and free parking right outside the pub. Will be recommending this place to friends and family for sure!"
