"Great experience and atmosphere. Staff were 10/10 . Great rooms."

"Really wonderful accommodation. Walking distance to town. Not a hotel but a guest house in a refinished and vibrantly appointed (200 year-old?) historical home newly acquired and attentively managed by Sandra, Michael and son Valentin who were the most welcoming, engaging and thoughtful hosts imaginable. Large, beautiful rooms. Breakfasts were lovely, and we really enjoyed the option of one of Michael’s incredible dinners. Really happy to have found Maison Mulato. If you go, make sure to spend a...

"A charming hotel close to Libourne center. Very clean and it’s smell great! Great experience."

"Great property, we stayed at the cabin which was very private and quiet. The host was great, very helpful with booking restaurants. We have no concerns during our stay. "

"Charming lovely place. Really enjoyed the onsite wine tour"

"My wife and I stayed overnight whilst travelling South. What a fantastic location exceeded only by the welcome. The food (evening meal and breakfast) was something really special. If looking for somewhere special in the Dourdogne look no further. Cannot recommend highly enough. "

"We stayed in a building separate from the hotel in three large suites. The suites are quite large with three rooms and one with two bathrooms. There is a chess board in each suite. The view of vineyards and the quiet ambiance complements the memorable stay. The staff is very accommodating and the dinner at the hotel was fabulous. This is a 5 star hotel, but I would give it a 10 star experience. If you wish to create fond memories, this is the place to stay."

"Great property and staff"

"The location was beautiful and the rooms carefully curated. Lovely atmosphere and had an absolutely delightful breakfast. Nice tour of facility and taste of their wines. Overall, great experience!"

"This was our second time staying at this wonderful hotel, and it certainly won’t be the last. From the warm, personalized service to the countless thoughtful details, every aspect of our stay was exceptional. The room was impeccably clean, the pool was simply delightful, and the overall atmosphere made us feel truly cared for. Highly recommended."

"Our family stayed at this Chateau for three days and we had a fantastic time. The chateau is incredibly well maintained, the staff are extremely nice and accommodating, and the room was large with a beautiful view and air conditioned. The breakfast and dinner were also delicious as was the wine from their vineyard. Parking is also included nearby and an EV charger is available for those who need one. Overall, this was our favorite stay while in France and we highly recommend it."

"Dominique and Laura are running this two room exclusive and deluxe experience a few miles outside Saint-Emilion. The place, the garden, the breakfast and the excellent and exceptional service makes this the perfect place to stay for your travels in the surroundings of Saint-Emilion. We will be back!"

"Accueil super par la propriétaire, une belle personne. Une chambre magnifique ainsi que la maison en général. Un petit déjeuner succulent. Un lieu qui mérite d'étre decouvert et apprécié."
