"I was very impressed with the facility. We were travelling through and just needed a good place to rest for the night. While it was an older facility it has been well maintained. It was clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet was just what you would expect. As far as value for the cost, it was significantly cheaper than other properties and was a great value. This will be my go-to location every time I am in Charlottesville"

"It is a new hotel!! The property was very clean and staff was accommodating. I do have an issue and recommendations . Although I had prepaid for the room, I was not notified of the additional $50 hold for incidentals until we got there to check-in. Another issue that may get worked out once open longer is, I’ve never been to a hotel that doesn’t keep coffee or tea out after breakfast is over. They had literally just put a fresh canister of coffee out around 9:45, and came back and collected it at 10 once breakfast was over. Also, breakfasts items could be expanded. Only muffins, granola bars, and fruit. Hopefully they can make some of these suggested small changes. Outside of the situations stated above, I would stay again. It’s a nice hotel."

"The room and hotel was clean. The decor was “generic”. The rooftop bar and restaurant was very good. The blackout shades were good. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were very hard. The breakfast was subpar. The AC fan was a bit noisy all night. There was a fire alarm unit in the ceiling that flashed white lights all night. It kept me up."
