"Thoroughly enjoyed amenities at Ruby Emma, the room had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. The complimentary drink was a nice touch. In a pinch the food was ok. There is a Mc Cafe across the street, but we made more use of the grocery store 2 buildings down with fresh pastries and cold drinks. the metro was less than a 5 minute walk which was unexpected but super convenient; we were in Amsterdam Central in 10-15 mins."

"Overall a great stay, would recommend this hotel to friends and would definitely stay here again. The free breakfast with our room was a pleasant and well appreciated surprise. Access to public transportation was exceptionally easy. After a five minute walk to the tram stop, only one tram to downtown and back to the hotel on the same tram made our visit even better. A 10 minute walk to the train station allowed us to explore even more of the city and country if we wanted. My only negative mention, would be the way our room was cleaned during our visit. We opted not to have our room cleaned every day and chose to have it cleaned only once during our visit. Some things not cleaned were a garbage in the bathroom was not emptied and dirty glasses were not switched out. Other than this, again, we had a great stay."

"Breakfast buffet is amazing, probably my most favourite thing about our stay. The room at first glance looks modern but it was hard to find everything as it appears they tried to save on space by tucking everything away. I couldn’t find the fridge and coffee until the next morning. The see through toilet was not appreciated. Couldn’t hook up to the wifi in the room, called for help and was not successful (nobody seemed to know what to do). Bed was fairly comfortable, my husband found the pillows too thick but I liked them. Curtains helped block out the light for a good night’s rest. Location close to the metro but the area is a little sketchy at night."

"Room was clean just a pity that we could not use the safe, we reported it but nothing was done to fix the problem the back was missing holding the 4 batteries in place so when you closed the safe the batteries fell out servies in the resturant was very slow,"
