"The good: Fiesole is a tranquil little town and an easy 15 minute bus ride into downtown Florence. We saw many hikers and cyclists passing through. The bad: the hotel is dingy and charmless. It advertises views of the Tuscan countryside but these are a sliver at best. Our room had a moldy shower, stained curtain, and repainted second hand furniture. The front desk is not manned 24/7. The breakfast is so-so. In short, if you want to avoid the pricier hotels in town, or access to local hiking...

The staff is very kind and helpful, and the parking area is private and enclosed, which made everything feel very convenient and safe.
