I stay at this property at least twice a year since it opened. Always a clean, quiet, enjoyable stay each time. Front desk staff knows their stuff! Breakfast attendant is super helpful and friendly. I also like that they have a washer/dryer room if you’re staying several days and need to do some laundry. See you next time!
I stayed here for the first time back in June for a firefighting class at the college. I came back this weekend for another class and knew I wanted to stay here again.

Loved the room- large and the lighting was perfect. Loved the chaise lounge. Big windows. Perfect location downtown and right on the river. Very clean and super friendly staff. One of the best HI Expresses I've stayed at.
We have stayed here 2xs. This handicap room with a king bed was not comfortable. Bed was hard and the pillows need to be softer.
Other than that we were very happy with service.!
Was very impressed with the property - the rooms and pool area. It is an older hotel that has been updated. The updates are very nice and the hotel is very clean. The cleaning team does an amazing job! The one issue I identified - which would of been a bigger issue if I was traveling alone - was that the outside door into the facility didn't lock.
Beds were very comfortable but the pillows were so soft that I had to use 3. Outside picnic tables, a swing and corn hole available for use.
Arrived to a warm welcome and helpful woman up front. TV was set on wrong channel to receive reception (unknown to us) and she came right to our room to help us. Breakfast was great; Waffles you make yourself (5 stars!!) w/maple syrup, several kinds of fresh donuts, bagels w/ cream cheese, fruit, muffins, cereals, juice, milk, coffee, etc. You can walk right out of your room and you are on the beach :) They also had several fire pits to use out back along with a picnic table.
