It was phenomenal!! A quiet place outside the city, and the staff were wonderful. Any question we had, they were there to help us. Beautiful scenery; a must for any photographer.
Just had a wonderful stay at Xianal Vacation Chateau (夏內爾渡假民宿). It was just a piece of paradise among the strawberry fields. It's just off the busy Taiwan Route No 3, but the noise level was not a concern due to good sound insulations. It's also a short drive to the town of Dahu for a nice meal. The hosts are very enthusiastic and helpful, and are just a pleasure to chat with. The room was tastefully decorated, with top-shelve amenities. The breakfast was a surprising large tray with delicious...
I spent a week in Taiwan and this is my favorite hotel for this kind of stay. I had business all over the country, but hate changing hotels, so it served as a great "base of operations." The only downside is distance from the High Speed Rail station and the traffic during rush hours, but it's worth the extra time to the amenities of this hotel.
Our room was perfectly clean and fresh. Bathroom was nice with a large shower and separate sauna type tub. Front desk staff were very professional and spoke enough English to make communication simple. Very pleasant stay and priced right.
Very welcoming and helpful to foreigners. Excellent service each day, clean and very nice bed linens. I stayed here for 10 days visiting my son and his family nearby. Easy walk to the beautiful pier and other parks. I plan to stay here again when I visit next year .
