What we liked the most was the lady who made breakfast for so many of us and worked so hard to make sure that every guest got a hot meal and plenty of fresh coffee. She was outstanding.
Made the reservation online a couple days ahead of our trip. I called the hotel the morning we left to verify our reservation was still in effect and informed the desk that we would be getting a late start, therefore would be arriving after midnight. We arrived at the hotel at around 1:45am to find the desk clerk ready for our check in. Very friendly and accommodating with no hassles! Which was exactly what I needed after driving 8 hours in a snow storm! Great job!
Such an incredible hotel, we are so happy we stayed!!! The pool was amazing. Our room had an AC issue and we were taken care of immediately. If nothing else, it made us more impressed! Great breakfast, the coffee was good. Couldn’t ask for more! If we head in this direction again, we WILL be staying here. Might even make a trip this way just to have another great night. Thank you for being part of our cross-country drive!!!
This Comfort Inn highly exceeded my expectations. It has recently been remodeled and is modern, clean, and new. The beds are very comfortable and even have both a soft and hard pillow. Every night when we entered our room, there was a slight smell of lavender, which was a great touch. I cannot recommend this hotel more for those staying in the La Porte, Michigander acuity, New Buffalo area.
Homer provide a great place to stay. He also gave suggestions on the area and was a great help, giving directions on best way to get to places. The breakfast that were prepared were wonderful. If you are in the area and Homer has an opening then I would book again in a heartbeat.
We had a delightful stay at the Oliver House. Tom and Alice are exceptional hosts. Be sure to enjoy dinner at Tippecanoe Restaurant next door... We met two nice couples at breakfast on Saturday morning and that night, after dinner, we sat in a swing on beautiful grounds... soon, fellow guests wandered in from dinner and 6 of us sat visiting in the garden. Recently opened so obviously everything was new. The rooms are extra spacious and the new organization is the best I have encountered in a HI-Express. Location is close to restaurants and Kroger, etc.

Right when you walk through the door is smells wonderful. Our room was very clean. The staff was very helpful and helped us find things to do in the area. During our stay our car had a flat tire and Justin even changed it for us! Thank you so much for a great stay. We will be back
