Hotels in Castello West District

This is a PERFECT STAY if you have the same needs I had. If you: 1. have been to Venice before 2. are revisiting for the Biennale 3. want to stay on the island 4. want to avoid tourist crowds 5. don't want to splurge This place is P-E-R-F-E-C-T East of San Marco, right next to a bus stop, inexpensive, aircon works, wifi works. If you are trying to create some kind of "romantic" or "epic" Venice memory then this place may not be a match for you as the rooms are just "functional" and it has no...

Has a dock. Convenient to come into from the Airport or Train Station. Hands down a great choice ! Take the speed boat taxi in or you will be lugging your suitcases thru the streets.

Great place, super clean and amazing staff!

A great stay !!! Considering other accommodations in Venezia this one stands out as one of the best. Highly hospitable staff and excellent accommodations. Highly recommended to future guests and I would return without any hesitation

Clean, comfortable and classy! Marco was a great host.

Always a great stay and experience. Fabulous staff.

Great hotel for Venice area. Small but like home. Very nice, informative, helpful and professional staff from the reception to the lady in charge of the breakfast. Very clean and updated. Excellent location near all landmarks. Water taxi stop is nearby 2-3 minutes walk. Very comfortable. I would go back again.

Grazie Mille Hotel Orologio! Super friendly and helpful staff. We arrived very early and they held our bags while we went sightseeing. The breakfast buffet has ample options in addition to having fresh juices and delicious cappuccino. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful place, would stay again.

Overall very satisfied with our room, included breakfast and the friendliness of the staff. Pro's: 1. Hotel entrance faces the Grand Canal, and located very close to the Sant Angelo vaporetto water taxi stop (like 100 meters) 2. The front desk staff was extremely friendly at ALL times of the day and night. ALL questions answered including questions about Venice locations, tours, schedule of water taxi, and recommendations for local restaurants. 3. Our room was a junior suit with balcony...

Beautiful older hotel perfect fit for Venice. Very clean and timeless hotel. Excellent service. Excellent breakfast. Right in the shopping area of Venice and close walk to St.Marks Square. Nice amenities including: Spa for an additional charge. Boat taxi service provided by the hotel. Bar on site. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Rooms were small but lovely. Breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful. All staff were very pleasant. Reception staff were terrific! Very convenient location and very reasonably priced.

Our apartment at Al Bailo were one of the best parts of our visit to Venice . Friendly greetings from all staff and a large, bright and modern apartment . The kitchen was equipped with a Nespresso machine and there was a good supply of coffee pods and teabags. Restaurants and stores were few steps from the entrance and we were a short walk to San Marco , the Rialto and all Venice has to offer. We will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is on a canal. It has the most gorgeous back garden coutryard, which was our window view. When arriving by public water taxi, there is only one bridge to schlep your luggage over. The front desk man was great and helped take our bags up to the second floor by elevator. It is a lovely mix of old and new tastefully meshed together. Our room was rather sparse and needed a second chair and a larger bureau to hold my cosmetics and such. The bed was OK. It did have a smart TV. Bathroom...

EVERYTHING about the hotel was excellent. Great friendly staff, BEAUTIFUL room, wonderful breakfast, cleanliness was impeccable, room darkening shutters kept room very dark for sleeping. One VERY IMPORTANT thing to me was the water pressure in the shower. Most hotels have such wimpy water pressure, it takes forever to shower, but not here. Water pressure is great and tub drains very good so water doesn't puddle around feet. It was our 45th Anniversary and we were welcomed in our room with a...

Charming IQ is a gem , these are appartmete ver well decorated, Tania an Katherina were extremely helpful and with incredible sense of service . Is very well located close to San Marcos Plaza and the Rialto. The kitchen is very well equipped and they included coffee, Panetone and a Proseco which we enjoyed . Fully recommended .

Our stay at Palazzo Vitturi was just wonderful! It is a very beautiful boutique hotel and was renovated only a couple of months ago. The staff is extremely friendly and provided excellent restaurant recommendation. The breakfast was also outstanding and offered a variety of breads, Danish, yoghurts, cereals, scrambled egg, sausages, ham, cold cuts, cheese, fresh fruit and excellent coffee and tea.

Nicole was excellent at communicating and both her and Monica were so warm and welcoming. The room, common area, and patio were spotless with beautiful furnishings and decor. Such a nice, comfortable and safe place to stay in a great walkable location. Minou, the friendly black cat was the icing on the cake. Absolutely loved my stay and will recommend to friends and anyone going to Venice.
