"The welcome was personalised, they made my birthday special. Breakfast is really nice. All staff were helpful and friendly. Thank you. Areas of improvement: Disappointed to have to call for house keeping to clean my room and room was not cleaned whilst I was not in the room. TV had no remote and had to call to get a remote on arrival. Was informed on arrival that sauna and steam was inaccessible due to renovation. I was really disappointed because it was not highlighted on the website prior to...

"This is in a Nepal village, very different from Kathmandu. The staff was excellent, we had a guide, Nabin, who was also excellent - shared lots of information, pointed out lical flora and told us about the local customs. Truly enjoyed our visit."

"This was the perfect resort to stay in post our Everest Base Camp trek. The rooms were very comfortable and the shower was hot. We received excellent service from the restaurant staff, the spa services were high quality and the pool and hot tub were very relaxing. All in all we loved our stay at the Terraces and would recommend this as a great get-away from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu / Thamel. Note that the road to the resort is steep and windy and I would recommend booking the transfer...
