The rooms were a bit cold this time of year, so I suggest starting the heater during the day while you are out to come back to a nice toasty room. "Great concept for a hotel - one side offers the full view of Mt Fuji, another side offers the thrills of Fuji Speedway. The breakfast is excellent (food & views), with views of Mt Fuji. We signed up for a driving course at Fuji Speedway, which is connected to the hotel. The only issue is that it's quite remote, and it's best to drive there (roads to the hotel are very dark at night). There are no convenience stores such as 7-11 nearby, you have to drive about 2-3kms out to get to the nearest...

"We had a wonderful room with a view. Mt Fuji was very clear on the day we arrived. We had clear shots of Mount Fuji for 3 whole days. Amazing. We didn’t use the public bath as there were a lot of visitors. But in room bath was amazing. Just bought bath salts to use. Parking was readily available and we were blessed to see some wildlife as we drove down to town. Saw a small family of wild boars and deer. Lovely to hear birds singing in the morning. Breakfast was good as well."
