As senior travelers first time in Vietnam, we naturally were concerned with many things: how are we going to reach this off the bitten track resort, how to get back to Hanoi without car and so on, as we were looking for comfort, tranquility, and authentic experiences—and Le Champ delivered! The property isn’t ready to reopen after some remodeling, but Quan welcomed me and gave me a very nice room. He delivered meals to me and made sure I had everything I needed. I’m sure it will be fabulous, once the remodel is complete! I definitely recommend. (Note that the hotel is about 30 minutes from Sapa town, so, it’s great if you want peace and quiet, but you’re better off in town if you want any amenities nearby.)
