"Do not spend the money for this horribly outdated hotel! You are much better off staying at an "apartment" that one of the locals can provide. I am not an overly picky hotel guest, and I come from a Croatian background, so I normally cut hotels some slack in Croatia, knowing that they are not quite what I would expect in North America, but I couldn't wait to leave this horrible relic from the old communist days of tourism. "Beautiful hotel, fabulous rooms, beautiful a la carte restaurant. Breakfast was excellent. Restaurant for half board evening meal- terrible! Like a bad motorway cafeteria, not enough trained staff and awful food. So we ate out! "
