The room was clean and efficient, loved the heated bathroom floors The church bells tolling in the morning were delightful. The staff was busy but always made time to answer questions with a smile. The restaurant was very very good and the breakfast was a delightful private table with a generous variety of bread, rolls, fruits, yogurts, eggs and meats. Coffee and tea with again a very capable and friendly staff. Looking forward to our next visit.

Really fun little hotel, with super helpful staff, who took care of our every need. The larger rooms on the first floor are really great, with a bathtub in the room and nice decor. We did have a night in a second floor room also- just a bit small for us- we’ve been traveling for a while so have more stuff than someone on a weekend away- though still lovely decor and nice and quiet. We used this hotel as a base to explore the area of Friesland and were really happy with the choice.

Friendly staff. And clean hotel

We are the parents of four daughters who came with us to your hotel. We were all delighted by the beauty of the building and surroundings of the property. The cleanliness and care was excellent, as was the service and interest of our needs being met while we were there. We wish we had planned to stay longer and will do so next time we come.

It was a very a great surprise in the middle of open country. Farms around, lots of open space. Super quiet, great staff and great price. A real gem.

The hotel is very nice and restaurant is delicious. I highly recommend for either business or pleasure. The bathrooms could be updated, but it’s a very comfortable room.

The check in was amazing. Super friendly, very knowledgeable about property, the surrounding dings and restaurant suggestions. Beautiful historic building. Quiet. Clean. Great breakfast.

Very nice rooms and breakfast. It’s in the country so it’s very quiet but there are shops and things close by in town about 2km away.

Staff was very nice. Breakfast was excellent!
