We were there on a weekend and most places nearby had no vacancies. This resort had glamping units. I have camped and stayed in lots of hotels, but this was a first. The tent was spacious with 2 queen size beds , a table and chairs with room to spare. There is a permanent rain fly, so leaking would never be a problem. The beds have electric heat so we slept comfortably despite a chilly night. Shower and bathrooms were a short walk. I really enjoyed the experience.

This is one of the most unique places I have ever stayed at. Both Fred and Bert were extremely nice and helpful, if we are in that area again, we would definitely stay there. Their breakfast is amazing, so much to choose from and they’re very willing to accommodate food allergies our room was very fun and had a beautiful shower and bathtub. It was an enjoyable stay also the gardens are very pretty and it’s an easy walk into town. It is also very close to the border crossing so that’s nice.

Bathroom faucet loose. Toilet roll mounting blocks access to the toilet. Toilet too close to the sink and wall. Not water for the coffee maker or fountain in the lobby.
Exterior of hotel is run down
