Cuddalore District Hotels

A perfectly charming hotel with the friendliest, most thoughtful staff of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We were there five nights in a spacious room with beautiful appointments. The pool is perfect for cooling off in the afternoon. The front desk arranged a sailboat cruise for us and yoga every morning on the roof at 6:30 AM. I can’t wait to come back to this dreamy place a block from the ocean.

The driver quarters were good too

Bathroom with shower. Clean room, bedding. AC strong. Fan irritating with maximum speed, unsafe. No toilet paper.

Few steps to o Siva temple

Enjoyed my stay very much. I recommend this as an awesome place to stay while in Kumbakonam.

I spent two nights at Le Dupleix and I would certainly go back. The hotel is in a quiet street closet to the beach and is a wonderful mixture of contemporary design and antiques. The staff went out of their way to make me feel at home and immediately took care of whatever little thing I asked for. Such a lovely bunch of beautiful young people. The Krish Villa is a rustic little haven tucked away from the promenade, but still within walking distance. The staff were more than accommodating and happy to help us. We travelled with a 1 year old and they put us on the 1st floor which was extremely accessible and the kitchen helped us by making special food for the kid.
